Welcome!
This is my first post here, hopefully one of many.
Firstly, a short introduction. I am amateur deer stalker and have been deer stalking for the last 12 years. Originally from Poland, but moved to Scotland a few years ago. Still do some stalking back in Poland, but only when on holiday. Could not possibly live without deer stalking so after moving to Scotland I quickly applied for my own FAC, passed DMQ level 1 and 2 and did some paid stalks in order to get into shooting here in Scotland. Now, I mainly shoot forestry land as one of the syndicate members. Still looking for some shooting ground on my own, but am quite happy with a syndicate and can go out quite frequently. I miss wild boar shooting and fallow deer we have back in Poland, but here we have a good number of roe and some reds. Not the easiest ground to stalk, but very rewarding. Extraction though is a nightmare, so I do not shoot many reds.
I decided to start this blog to keep all deer stalking pictures, videos and notes in one place and also share my experience with others. I continue hunting traditions from my homeland here in Scotland, so it might look strange or bizzarre to some people, but I do what I was taught by my Father.
I also decided to write this blog in English, but please remember it is not my first language, so grammar, spelling and punctuation will not be flawless…
Good hunting! Darz bor!
