About
I have been deer stalking on my own for the last 12 years. Before that I was going out with my father. Originally from Poland, I moved to Scotland a few years ago. I could not possibly live without shooting, so after a good few paid stalks, I applied for my own firearms certificate, passed DMQ level 1 and 2 and joined a syndicate shooting over a forestry ground not far away from Glasgow. I still do some stalking back home, but only when on holiday. I am quite happy with what we have here, although I am still looking for a ground to manage on my own. I miss wild boar hunting and fallow deer we have back home, but there is a good number of roe and some reds here, and the syndicate ground is not far away so can go out quite frequently.
I decided to start this blog mainly to keep all deer stalking pictures, videos and notes in one place as well as share them with all other people interested in deer stalking. I do continue Polish hunting traditions and realise some of them might look strange to British stalkers, but I do what my father taught me.This website presents my personal views about deer stalking and what deer stalking is about.
I also decided to write this blog in English, but it is not my first language, so grammar, spelling and punctuation will not be flawless…
