The Motu Mob by Clive Sutton – deer hunting book review

I fished all deer hunting books I got on Christmas and birthday and as I had had a two week’s trip abroad planned (work not pleasure…) I had a quick look on Amazon if there was anything new I could buy and read on the plane. I soon found “The Motu Mob – Deer Hunting Yarns of New Zealand” by Clive Sutton and it was for £5 (!!!) including free delivery. 😆

The book consists of short hunting stories. They are all to the point and each of them just take a couple of pages. They describe authors exciting and some more typical deer and pig hunting trips in New Zealand. It makes you think we have it all too easy without too much effort whereas out there it is not that easy and can be dangerous too. Some stories are quite funny as well, but I will not spoil it for you.

I always wanted go hunting to New Zealand and after reading that book I want it even more. Highly recommended book and for £5 you can’t go wrong.
